Patriots on bye week

With the New England Patriots on a bye week I was expecting to be a bit bored this week, but the Steelers and Giants matchup was hardly boring. The game featured some confusion. First the Steelers were without Rashard Mendenhall and Jonathan Dwyer, the first and second string running backs. And  third string Isaac Redman was banged up and questionable. He would play and prove to be helpful. The Giants were expected to be somewhat dominated by the aggressive defense that the Steelers have. Eli struggled early throwing bad passes and interceptions but the run game of Ahmad Bradshaw, who was questionable going into the day, had 100 plus rushing yards and a touchdown. This in the end wasn't enough as the Steelers got a touchdown by Isaac Redman who ended up with 121 rushing yards and a touchdown, and the defense got a stop with three and a half minutes left to take the ball back with a four point lead. They ended up getting first down after first down and would run out the clock to end the game. The Steelers improve to 4-3 while the Giants go to 6-2.
